Gator`s Dockside in Clermont

This gators always gets my takeout orders incorrect. It's happened 6 times in the past year. The wings are consistently over cooked as well.

It’s hit or miss with Gators. Of all the wing places around Clermont, Gators have my personal favorite flavors in sauce... unfortunately wings are expensive and sometimes there pretty bare with not much meat. Most of the time it’s great. They have games for kids to keep busy. Just be ready to wait a while, sometimes 20+ min for your first round of wings to come out.

This place is hit or miss. Sometimes the service and food are great, other times it's one or the other. They seem to have fixed the service issues recently but the food is sometimes not as good. Management listens and tries to resolve the issues when we make the effort to complain.

Had much better. Food takes a while and never the correct order. It has gone downhill quick

Service is great! The food is good for quick table service. The gator tail bites are a must!

Love going for wing night, but service is always terrible. Always have to ask for drink refills, wait too long for a reorder of wings and just no personality. It always seems like we are bothering them by showing up. Only go back for wings but for sure going less because of service!

This place can’t handle big crowds. The place was 70% and weren’t sitting anyone because the kitchen was backed up so they said we had to wait 30 minutes. After the 30 minutes the managers came out and said that the food was backed up 1 and 1/2 hours. Ridiculous, this place has descent food but always have lacked of good management and service. They owners should see how much $ they are losing. Won’t be back after this. Needs new management.

Staff was nice and facility clean. Food took quite a while to come out despite it not seeming too busy and the appetizer portion was much smaller than I remember from years ago. But overall a good experience.

Nice place gator tail is excellent! Drink are reasonably priced. Service is normally great. Sometimes slow. Still IMO one of the better places to eat in the area.

Service was alright. Wings were slightly under-sauced. Overall just pretty meh 🤷‍♀️ other gators I have been to were nicer overall

Great place to take the kids. They have a little game area to keep them occupied till the food arrives. Staff is friendly and the food is good. There spinach artichoke dip is what i order every time as my appetizer with warm pita bread. If you haven't tried it you should.

Placed an order for pick up. The lady asked if I had another card that wasn’t a MasterCard because their machine doesn’t like MasterCards. She got another lady.. she said shh.. you can’t say that to the other lady.. took my card into some back office came back and said I don’t know why it’s not working, Then got another Person who carried my card somewhere else. Came back and asked if he could see my other card. I’ve been waiting for 25min in the restaurant while my food sits in the counter, with a credit card that I know should work. Went somewhere else and my card worked just fine.

The food was great and the server, Tiffany D, seemed very happy that I came in. Large portions and reasonable prices.

Gators Clermont did a fantastic job with supporting one of their own last night. Amanda Archer lost her husband Tuesday Evening. Sergeant Randy Archer was well respected and the community came out in droves, 100's of people to support this family. Gators knocked this one out of the park and your entire team should be proud! God Bless the Archer Family!

Food only ok. But service was exceptional.

Haven't been here in a while. Walked right in and got a table on a Friday night. Now I know why. The kitchen has completely failed. Restaurant 3/4 empty and they can't get out a sandwich and a salad in 45 minutes? Sad. This place used to be the place to go. Now? Pick someplace else, unless you like to be frustrated waiting for average pub grub.

We just stopped for a drink between errands. Always a good drink here but don't want it in a quiet place or real quick.

I always enjoy the food here. Like the deep-fried breaded wings with buffalo sauce on the side. The medium sauce is pretty gross, taste like it consist mostly of melted butter. The drinks are really good. Are usually mostly have the bloody Mary. My biggest complaint with this place is the service. They are super slow! Waited about 30 minutes for just a drink and much longer for the food. Don’t drink much at all but I was on my second drink and almost done with it when I asked where our food was and the waitress said that it was coming. Waited over an hour for our food. Wings and fries that just get deep-fried should not have taken forever to serve. The waitress said that there are just a lot of tables so they’re very busy. From where we were sitting at one of the high tops, I could see four empty tables. They were not busy at all.

Fries and chicken over cooked and tasted like the oil was not changed out recently. Service was good. Have a burnt oil taste the rest of the day.

Fara the bar tender is the best I would give her a diamond on service and personally, servicers great, managers outstanding would recommend this location to anyone Merry Christmas 🎄👍👍👍

All you can eat wings on Mondays & all you can eat boneless wings & fries on Wednesdays for $14. Pretty good deal and you can have an endless supply of great wings. Staff there is friendly, but the atmosphere & food is really hit or miss depending on the day. I've been here before & it was awesome, but this last Monday night the place was dead and the first batch of wings weren't hot. Regardless, too good of a deal to pass up on wings.

Great food and great service most of the time. Sometimes when packed there is little confusion when they try to serve you drinks right away but the person who takes your drink order isn't your actual server. But very speedy good service because of this.

Went back today to give another chance for Football Sunday and everything was great! They improved. Our wings, beer, burger & combo platter (spinach dip, mozz sticks & onion petals) were good. They were very busy but kept up. Manager did a great job accommodating everyone. He was even bringing food out to people. My server was on top of everything, made sure we were taken care of.

Really good food, fast. Waitresses name was maddie. She was very helpful and polite.

Nice atmosphere. Food is ok. Service was ok. Looks like a great place to catch the big game.

My buffalo chicken wrap was great and the beer was ice cold.

This is my first time to any Gator's Dockside. The evening I was there Gator's wasn't very busy but the noise level of the TVs was loud enough it was hard to have a normal conversation. If the purpose of your visit was dinner and watch the game then probably it would be okay. It didn't help on this visit my server was not very good. Three out of the four people in my party enjoyed the food.

You can get the same quality wings from a pizza place. Probably with better service too.

Decent food. Flat draft beer. Second time I went in my drink was empty for a good 20 min with the waitress nowhere to be found.

Before the quarantine we would frequent this restaurant either after softball games or for a quick work lunch, but it was our first time since March. I was nervous because I had seen some negative complaints on the local Facebook Rants page, I am glad to say we had a great time. Our server was Tiffany D. And she was awesome. She greeted us when we came in and was our server. She had our drinks to us without us ever being empty. She answered our questions and was upbeat and personable. She got our orders perfect and we never needed anything and seemed to have everything to us before we needed to ask. Our appetizer of fried pickles were perfect and I swear it was 8 minutes after we ordered and they were busy since it was Saturday. All of our meals were delicious and plentiful and we got takeout even for the family still at home. Way to go Dockside Gators and Tiffany D. in Clermont. Keep up the great work!

The manager at Gators Dockside in Clermont went ABOVE AND BEYOND to accommodate my last minute wedding rehearsal dinner! We originally were to have it outside at the Tiki Bar and because of the weather (windy, freezing, raining) we had to quickly find a restaurant that could accommodate 40+ people. WOW is all I can say. We had the entire back part of the restaurant, the food was delish, the service was excellent and my guests had such an amazing time. Gators saved the day and I'm forever greatful!!!

I have been dining here since 2005 and James is the best kitchen manager they have EVER had. Servers are great, but they need better leadership. The female manager ( I think her name is Bridgette) is weak and need more training. She is the reason I didn't give 5 stars.

Hit or miss but the onion peddles are great! Never a really bad experience to warrant a complaint but food isn’t always spectacular. Still a regular spot for lunch about 2-3 times a month!

Great place to go watch your game. The food is great. All you can eat wings Monday is awesome. I tried the gator tale. It was tasty, but a very small portion. Even though I really liked it, I will not be getting it again due to its portion size.Would I recommend gators dockside? Yes I would highly recommend it if you want to watch your team play in a great atmosphere.

Always get the Cheesesteak sandwich and it is always excellent.

Great Amercian sports bar with plenty of TVs. They have free poker here every sunday with High Stax Poker..

Delicious burgers. Good service, friendly workers. Well worth coming back.

The wings and sauce seemed freshly prepared. Had good flavor and taste good.

We were planning on a different restaurant close by but ended up here instead. I'm glad we did. I've been to many Gators but this service was great. We have a dairy allergy and the manager went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met.

Considering the situation and not having a full menu the service and food were still great. Mainly burgers sandwiches and wings for the menu but still great.
